Brach's Abra CaBubble
When I was a kid, my mother frequently had a brown paper bag full of Abra CaBubbles hidden in various places throughout the house (those and fireballs). I remember turning the house upside down looking for them on a daily basis, so yummy. (kinda like a blow pop without the stick and only one flavor)

Meatloaf
I love making meatloaf, I've never made the same one twice. (PBTB hates it, but I don't care to make the same thing twice. I guess the challenge is gone.) You can stick with these basic ingredients and then add or subtract whatever. And then there's the glaze, fun to experiment with.
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 egg
1 onion, chopped (I don't like onions, so I skip this ingredient)
1 cup milk
1 cup dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1 onion, chopped (I don't like onions, so I skip this ingredient)
1 cup milk
1 cup dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Some things I've tried. Minced Garlic 2 or 3 cloves, fresh grated parmesan cheese 1/4 C, grated carrots (not together, necessarily)......the sky is the limit.
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk and bread OR cracker crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in a lightly greased 5x9 inch loaf pan, OR form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. (I just like to form it into a loaf on some foil and fold up the edges, no dishes :)

IKKS
I picked up some shorts for "W" at Kid to Kid a few weeks ago, even though it was the end of the season, they were just too cute to pass up. I didn't recognize the brand, IKKS. I didn't realize they were so expensive. I totally scored. (A European company, but also available stateside from online retailers)

Sweater Coats @ Old Navy
I heart comfy trends. Have you found the long sweater you'll be parked in all winter long? I have. At first, I didn't want to spend that much money, but later decided it would have ended in one of those should'ves.

Family Picks 4 Family Pics @ Old Navy
I know, I don't post much from anywhere else anymore. Maybe I will venture to more diverse locations when it becomes easier for me to make more than one stop. We are getting family pics sometime next month. This is how it will play out.Over this

Toddler Skirts @ Target/Old Navy
I have a problem. I absolutely cannot look for clothes for my boys without wandering into the litttle girl's section. These cute little things call my name, I swear.

Lemon Cookies
Sorry for my absence. I've been partying it up in Seattle, selling my leftover yarn at a yard/bake sale. In which I was introduced to some delectable little cookies which I obtained the recipe for via this e-mail sent by my sis.
Kelli,Thank you so much for the cookies. Several people have enjoyed them, but none more than my sister. She told me that I had to email you and ask you for the recipe, and then she told me again, and then she reminded me three times, and then she threatened me. I would really appreciate it if you could share the recipe with us (you know, so I can live to see my children grow up :) Thanks again! Duchess
one box lemon cake mix (or any other flavor too)
mix in 1/3 cup oil
two eggs
mix together, roll a spoon size serving into a ball, bake for 8-10 minutes at 350.
So easy and always a hit :)
