I bought this little number to go to a wedding at Rose Sachs Garden, a dear friend of mine. So fun to wear, beautiful detail. I also liked this orange one, but it wasn't on sale. The wedding was stunning.

Coconut Pecan Frosting

Tomorrow is PBTB's bd. I will be making german chocolate cake, his favorite. I have mastered the coconut pecan frosting recipe to his exact liking. I make a double batch for 1 cake, another request.

1 egg

1 5 oz. can evaporated milk

2/3 C sugar

1/4 C margarine or butter

1 1/3 C flaked coconut

1/2 C chopped pecans

In a saucepan beat egg slightly. Stir in milk, sugar, and margarine. Cook and stir over medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool thoroughly. Spread on cake.

I remember going here as a kid while at a family reunion in Bear Lake, so much fun. I was looking forward to taking "W" there this weekend, but our plans have changed. Our building permit has been approved, so PBTB is digging our hole this weekend instead, Hooray!
