Lu Lu Lemon

My dear sister, the Duchess, so graciously pointed out to me that I was making her look bad by not mentioning the early birthday present that I received from her. So, to make up for my mistake, it get's it's own post and you get a double "bolt from the blu" day. The Duchess sent me this fabulous water bottle, also very green, that I have used pretty much everyday since. Pretty cool website as well. The best part about it is that it fits in the Peg Perego stroller cupholder, woohoo!

Ogio Road Trip

For my birthday last night, I went to a church fireside and was blessed to hear Liz Lemon Swindle speak of her latest art. We were lucky enough to sit next to a stylish young woman. I whispered to the Yarn Queen, "ask her where she got her bag". She replied "It's an Ogio".
Ok, I must have missed the boat on this one, but I catch up sooner or later. As soon as I got home I went to Ogio.com. looking at the fabrics, I realized that these bags have caught my eye on more than one occasion in the past. I must admit the photos online do not capture the detail or do the bags justice. I purchased the exact same bag that I saw at the fireside from ebags.com on sale. I love birthday money!

My Noah's

I found this website a couple of weeks ago. This place looks huge. It made me want to find a reason to go there. Can I justify driving to Lindon to play racquetball?

Check out the website, the rooms are pretty incredible, and rooftop ice skating?

Blurb

I was persistent in telling the Duchess to figure out a way to make a hard copy of our blogs on a regular basis. So, finally, during one last final attempt, she told me about Blurb.com. We both tried it out and were both equally satisfied with how easy it was to make a blog book. Download it, you won't be disappointed.

My Mod Be

I love these! I know, I know, it's one of those Utah home party things, but I want one of these swimsuits. They are not cheap, but no more than other swimsuits.

Sorry, the picture is kind of small.

Maxi Cosi Priori

This is the carseat I am probably going to get for "W". I have a feeling he will be 22+ pounds on Thursday, in which case he will have outgrown his newborn carrier. They don't make a lot of rear-facing carseats that are meant for over 22 pounds, so I am forced to get a convertible. Those of you who have bought convertible carseats know that "ugly" must be some sort of requirement. This is the only one that I can find that has any sort of style.

Charm

So, I had to include my absolute favorite kitchen item. If you don't already have one of these, you should get one. I got this at IKEA about 4 years ago, but they still have them. I find myself recommending it to friends all the time. PBTB teased that I should put it on my blog. I actually thought it was a good idea.

What I like about it.....very ergonomical (I don't know why, but grating cheese was always such a struggle before), two different grate toppers, all grated cheese falls nicely into a bowl (no more trying to clean up sticky grated cheese), includes a tupperware lid to store in the fridge when you grate too much cheese, which is always, right?

Do Your Part

I was rushing through Pottery Barn one day and these caught my eye. I just had to buy the Duchess one for her birthday. Funny thing, she got me a water bottle for my birthday. These are a great alternative for those of you who put any clout in the dangers of plastic. But, the best part is how cute they are. I got her the red poppies.

Puddle Jumper Shoes

I was flipping through my complimentary copy of Parents magazine today and saw an ad for these little shoes. The pharmacy that I used to work for was one of the first to carry these sweet little shoes and now they're popping up in magazines. I used to order directly from the owner, Carrie. Good for her! She stumbled across this business venture when she was adopting her daughter in China. If I remember correctly, she is a single mom as well. Well, the girl shoes keep getting cuter and cuter, still love those polka dots. I do wish they still had the cute oxfords for boys that they used to have. These were my favorite of their current line.

Gallop!

I picked this book up for "W" a couple of weeks ago at Costco. It's so cool, it uses scanimation. It's like having a video without a screen, the animals move as you flip the pages. "W", of course, loves it already, being the little television addict that he is. I do not believe in collectibles, but I do have a weakness for children's books. This will definitely not be the last time you will see a book on this site.

Baby Legs

Ok, so many of you may have seen or heard of Baby Legs, but you have to admit, they are definitely worth mentioning. The Duchess suggested I do just that. I thought I would pick out my favorite and share. One thing I didn't know, adults wear them on there arms, pretty cute. I think I should seriously consider some, but for myself or "W"? ......hmmmmm. On a sidenote, as a retailer, I am always searching for alternative brands to carry in my store, and so you have Huggalugs, not bad (keep in mind prices listed are Australian).
Marco? Polo?
These would definitely be for "W", for me perhaps, Scandia or Ivy League.

Nix All Star Socks

Trying to find cute things for baby boys can be disheartening to say the least. That's why I had to have a pair of these for my little "W", even if they are somewhat overpriced for my budget. I learned about these from Design Mom, luv her site. You can get these rockin' socks at Nix Baby. This is the color combo of my choosing, but there a more, and of course, some for girls too.

Stack & Fill Pancake Molds

I love making yummy breakfast. I don't buy things from Williams Sonoma often.....an occasional breadmaker, the annual pumpkin waffle mix, but how fun would these be? The possibilities are endless.

Also, they provide a recipe for praline pancakes that looks absolutely scrumptious.

Ooooh, I just remembered.....I have a $50 gift certificate for WS from a couple of years ago, typical, I keep forgetting to use it.
