Sand Shapers; Willyspheres

The Duchess left this in my inbox this morning. But, more importantly used in the snow. Yes, very cool.

Boys' Room

Decorating is part of me. I don't profess to be an expert, but living almost a year in someone else's home, is, in a sense, crushing my soul. Don't get me wrong, I am EXTREMELY grateful to have a roof over my head. But, today is gloomy, and I'm thinking about things to come and I should really stop before I start hyperventilating. I have a vision for the boys' room that could definitely incorporate a few things from this post.

Culinary Circle Bucatini

I've had a long time complaint. I've never been able to find thick noodles at your standard grocery store. I discovered Culinary Circle's Bucatini the other day at Albertson's. Tried it tonight.......oh yeah, this is going on my staple list.

Sub Zero Ice Cream

My friend Esther blogged about this place yesterday.
Dear Duchess,

Now that Utah has an ice cream joint, subway style. You choose your own base cream (that includes soy, sista). You can go ahead and start packing up your things. That is, if the Duke hasn't signed his life away yet.

Gnocchi @ Sostanza

If I ever see Gnocchi on a menu, I order it. It's my favorite "out to eat" meal. Sostanza's gnocchi is on my top 3 list of best I've ever eaten. And whaddya know, right here in Tooele

Fendall's

I thought that all that was left of Fendall's was a vintage sign on 700 East, but apparently they're still in operation. When I was in high school. I though it was so cool to go to Fendall's for ice cream. If you ate a certain size of ice cream, you got an entire block on the wall to decorate with a black sharpie (and probably a belly ache to go along with it).

Smencils

I enjoyed church meetings yesterday to the scent of Smencils. Gourmet scented pencils wrapped in 100% recycled newspapers. My 4 and 8 year old niece and nephew were thoroughly entertained.
