Homemade Christmas

This year our family has opted to do a handmade holiday for Christmas. In order to do this you must plan ahead. No last minute shopping for us. Here are a few websites I've found with great ideas. Of course, I always like to visit Martha first, but here are a few extra.

Knitting needles, fabulous!

Number One

Number 2

There are so many fun things to make for Christmas

Some ideas I've made in the past......jewelry, knit anything (of course), knives (easier than you think), pjs, family history album (mostly a compilation of those stories that get told and re-told at family gatherings), burned photo cd (I have endless amounts of photos of family members, but they've never seen them), small gift scrapbooks, quilts, advent calendars, cement stepping stones, the possibilities are endless.
